Amnesty International Network Utrecht is looking for an organizer. The role is a voluntary position requiring an average commitment of 4 hours per week.
Amnesty International Network Utrecht (AINU) is a collective of like-minded people who contribute locally in Utrecht to global action against human rights violations, in line with Amnesty International’s campaigns in the Netherlands. We organize events that shed light on local human rights issues, fostering meaningful local impact. As an organizer, you will help coach and coordinate the different activist leaders. Additionally, we facilitate opportunities for our activists to develop their leadership skills. The primary language of communication within our network is English. Do you want to help us with this, and can you encourage others to take action? Then we are looking for you in our team!
Who are you?
- You enjoy contributing to the growth of the Amnesty network in Utrecht.
- You are someone who easily approaches people and builds relationships.
- You are not afraid to take initiative.
- You are someone who likes to create local collaborations.
- You can motivate and get people enthusiastic for the network.
- You coach activist leaders who organize actions with their own team of activists.
- A time investment of 4-6 hours per week.
- You speak Dutch and/or English.
What does AINU offer you?
