Amnesty diende in december 2018 een officiële klacht in over het politieoptreden bij een vreedzaam eenmansprotest bij het bezoek van de Chinese premier Li Keqiang aan het Haags Gemeentemuseum. Daarbij vorderde de politie het identiteitsbewijs van een vreedzame Amnesty-activist.
