The interactive lesson package the Children’s Rights Journey consists of two parts that together contains inspiration for various lessons about children’s rights.
During the World Trip, the students visit ten different countries, each of which addresses a different human rights theme. The Time Journey also covers various human rights themes, but this time divided over ten time periods.

For primary and secondary schools

The Children’s Rights Journey is specifically suitable for the oldest pupils of primary education. But the material can also be used for younger pupils or for the first of secondary education. The package can be used for citizenship education and is in line with the core objectives of ‘orientation on yourself and the world’ of primary education.

World Trip

Through the World Trip module, children gain insight into the global status of human rights. They are introduced to various countries, understanding how each nation adheres to different rights. The exercises serve as a starting point for discussions about human rights in the classroom.

 

Time Travel

The Time Travel feature immerses you interactively in the past. The humanHuman rights are showcased through ten historical periods. Explore the rights that people had during those times and observe how they have transformed over the years. Thought-provoking assignments encourage children to reflect on the concept of human rights.
