Write for Rights op School update: Aleksandra Skochilenko bedankt ons voor alle post die ze van jullie heeft gekregen!

Kennen jullie Aleksandra nog? Ze voerde in Rusland actie tegen de oorlog in Oekraïne door in supermarkten prijskaartjes te vervangen door anti-oorlogsslogans. In 2022 werd zij in Sint-Petersburg opgesloten om te worden berecht. Tijdens Wright for Rights op School kwamen we voor haar in actie.

Heb jij ook voor haar geschreven? Zij bedankte ons voor alle post die ze van jullie heeft gekregen. Via haar advocaat stuurde Aleksandra een kaart terug voor jullie:

“Dear participants of the action, I wholeheartedly thank you for your support for Sasha. Your attention warms us up at this difficult time and lets us feel that we are not left alone with the repressions, which are, unfortunately, taking place in our country. Besides your appeals to the embassy you also sent Sasha lots of postcards with words of support. In gratitude, Sasha asked me to share with you this drawing that she’d made in prison especially for you.”
